Life can be busy, so getting together for a photoshoot can feel tricky, but it is so worth it. I love welcoming families to the studio to mark a milestone, a new arrival, a parent's special birthday, a grandparent's anniversary, or simply a moment in time. It's pure joy creating portraits you'll love forever more.
Babies, toddlers, teens, parents, grandparents, the more the better. Three- and four-generation portraits are my favourites.

From the first chat to collecting the finished prints, here's exactly how a family session unfolds.
Looking for a natural family photo to hang proudly in your home? You hate getting your photo taken but really want one you love. I know all the tips and tricks, the shoot is genuinely fun, and you'll be wondering why you waited so long.
We chat over the phone or you call to the studio. We'll discuss what to wear and what to bring, look at the product range and the shooting space, and you'll have the chance to ask anything you want.
Once you're booked I'll share wardrobe tips. Keep it simple, and if you have children under 7 I usually suggest mums in jeans rather than a dress, since I shoot more casual portraits on the floor for that age group.
Now the real fun begins. I have plenty of tips and tricks to keep children engaged and laughing, and I know how to put parents at ease in front of the camera so the whole family looks and feels themselves.
You come back to the studio together, relax, and watch a movie where you are the stars of the show. Portraits are shown in colour and black & white, and I'll talk you through the products and sizes you can order.
This is the day you collect your finished order and see the quality of the prints in person. I love watching clients react to the final pieces, there's nothing quite like owning a piece of art you'll love for your family.

A portrait session costs from €200 and includes a 10×7 inch print in an 11×14 inch mount, of any photo of your choice.
Being comfortable is the most important thing. Dress smart-casual, avoid heavy patterns, text or large logos. Solid colours work best, and don't be afraid of colour.
Yes, all children under 7 should bring their favourite teddy or doll. I use their toy to engage with them and make your child laugh out loud as their toy gets up to mischief.
Yes, all portraits are professionally retouched. I can also remove any unwanted blemishes and gently retouch the skin if required.
Yes, and the best part is there's no extra cost. I can also capture three- and four-generation family portraits, which are often overlooked.
Around 45 minutes, or a little less if the children are school-going age.
